You’ll live and breathe Smartphones. In your network, you’re the early-adopter of all the latest technology. You know how it all works, in reality, you know how they could have done it better. As an skilled developer, you may have developed your own Apps from home, or maybe you’ve worked on one with your latest employer.
But your true strength is in leading others to produce. On time, to specification, and on budget. Your team are your right-arm, and you’ll know that leading them from the front, and ensuring everyone has the full skill-set required, is the quickest way to a quality product. Some people call it ‘obsessive’, you call it ‘committed’. You’ll report straight in to our Head Office in the UK, ensuring you have a direct line to the Head of Mobile Applications.
As our new Smartphone Team Leader you’ll have at least 5 years experience leading a development team, and even more in hands-on development, using at least one of the following languages: C, C++, J2ME, Objective C, Java, Windows Mobile, Symbian,
Experience of the Apple framework and SQL/mySQL would be advantageous.
