Fantastic Furniture releases new Mobile
Website.
Australia's leading value furniture manufacturer and retailer,
Fantastic Furniture has released a new mobile channel to facilitate
increased mobile traffic to its popular website.
"Over the past 12 months, we have witnessed a twenty percent
increase in mobile traffic to our website. We decided to help
make life easier for our mobile browsing customers by building a
new Mobile channel," said Mr Harry Bolanakis, national marketing
communications manager, Fantastic Furniture.
Fantastic Furniture engaged leading mobile technology company,
2ergo Australia to build the new channel.
"We are delighted to have been appointed by Fantastic Furniture,
the third largest furniture retailer and manufacturer in Australia,
to help them take the initiative to be the first amongst their
competitors to develop a Mobile website," said Mr Glen Wilson, Head
of Business Development, 2ergo Australia.
The new easy-to-use mobile website is designed to help guide
customers through Fantastic Furniture's complete range, including
the entire fabric selection, allowing customers to make purchasing
choices whenever and wherever they are. The key elements include
detailed product information, packages, 'view current promo', 'view
TV ads', social media, sharing a favourite deal and showing store
locator details automatically within a customer's area, with
click-to-call functionality.
"This latest innovation is part of our commitment to listening
to our customers and making the necessary changes to facilitate
their shopping experience. Customers can now be informed
about our range and make purchasing decisions before they visit our
stores, which helps enhance their Fantastic Furniture experience,
thereby encouraging repeat purchase and loyalty," said Mr Harry
Bolanakis.
Mr Bolanakis said that this was one of a range of new
initiatives Fantastic Furniture was making in order to meet the
changing needs of their customers. "We have recently launched a
fabulous new glossy lifestyle magazine called 'Fantastic Living',
which can now be downloaded from the iTunes store for the
iPad. It enables customers to view our range in-situ and
receive styling tips and advice," said Mr Bolanakis.
"The new Mobile Channel has provided Fantastic Furniture's
customers with a quality mobile website experience and has placed
Fantastic Furniture as a front-runner amongst its industry peers,"
said Mr Glen Wilson.
Fantastic Furniture manufactures approximately 150,000
Australian-made sofas each year and has 72 stores Australia
wide.
