2ERGO CONFIRMED AS TOP 50 FASTEST GROWING TECHNOLOGY COMPANY

mobile products and services has been recognised as one of the 50
fastest growing technology companies in the UK by the Deloitte Fast 50
award programme.
The company, based in the North West, received
the accolade in the Deloitte Fast 50, one of the UK’s foremost
technology award programmes, which ranks the country’s 50 fastest
growing technology companies. Measuring percentage revenue growth over
the last five years, the Fast 50 programme also honours technological
innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

an official ceremony on November 25 at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in
London, where winners of the EMEA Fast 500 awards will also be
announced.
The company’s win follows landmarks earlier this year,
including the unveiling of a new identity, rebranding of its U.S. arm
and recruitment of a new senior management team. These were key steps
in the AIM-listed organisation’s plans to achieve ambitious global
growth targets.
In the six months to February 2008,
2ergo’s pre-tax profits were up 23 per cent on the equivalent period
ending a year earlier, with gross and operating profits both rising 13
per cent. Its turnover in the period also showed a 13 per cent
increase.
Predictions suggest revenue from mobile marketing
and mobile CRM globally is set to soar from the current £750m a year to
around £7bn by 2011. There are already believed to be over 61 million
mobile phones in the UK, 300,000 more than the human population and, in
a recent survey, 70 per cent of Britons confirmed the handset was their
preferred and primary means of communication.
